How Can I Help?

PRAYER:

“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people.  Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.  Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity” 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (NLT)

“The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”  James 5:16b

We firmly believe that it is prayer that has given us the strength to endure this journey. It was prayer that carried us through the infertility testing, prayer that sustained us when we found out Sarah’s endometriosis couldn’t be removed, and prayer that gave us the courage to step out in faith as we pursued adoption.  Prayer brought our son’s birth mom into our lives for the private adoption and enabled us to love her as a member of our own family.  Prayer also allowed us to meet the birth dad and become friends with him as well. Prayer also gave us the strength on the day of our son’s birth and enabled all of his family members- biological and adoptive – to come together and share the experience.  Prayer continues to give us wisdom as we navigate through the provincial adoption process and become parents of 2 children who are 2 years apart in age.

We value your prayers!

SUPPORT:

Adoption can be a long and stressful process. There will be days of celebration and days of heart ache and uncertainty. We would love for you to come along side of us and offer some encouragement as the Lord lays us upon your hearts. We are excited about our son and now our new daughter, and will need your love and support as we seek to raise them both to know Christ.
